Forestone’s Black Bamboo reed is known for its durability and its resistance to the influences of temperature and dehydration.  The reed contains a combination of bamboo fiber and a special carbon mixture that increases balance and projection. Beginning April 1st, every P. Mauriat soprano, alto, tenor, and baritone saxophone will ship to dealers with a strength 3 Black Bamboo reed included in its outfit (MSRP: $30.95).

Master Luthier, Kazuo Yairi Dies Aged 81
