St. Louis, MO – February 2, 2026 – Citadel Guitar Pedals, a new boutique pedal brand founded by industry veterans Santiago Alvarez, Tommi Otsavaara and Torsten Woelle, is now exclusively distributed in the U.S. by St. Louis Music (SLM).
Santiago Alvarez and Tommi Otsavaara are highly respected engineers with deep roots in the music electronics industry. Alvarez previously served as Technical Director and Amplifier Designer for Marshall, while Otsavaara was formerly the Chief Technology Officer of Darglass Electronics. Together, they bring decades of experience in analog and digital design to the Citadel lineup.
The current Citadel range includes three overdrive pedals, a fuzz, a compressor, a noise gate and a phaser, each engineered with touring and studio musicians in mind. All models feature top-mounted input and output jacks for efficient pedalboard integration, along with either digitally saved or manually configured power-up states, making them ideal for larger pedalboard and rack setups. Guitarists will enjoy a dynamic range of tones, from crunchy overdrive and classic tube to phase shifting and British high-gain.
“Citadel pedals reflect the kind of innovative engineering and real-world functionality that today’s musicians demand,” explains Chris Meikle, COO & EVP at St. Louis Music. “We’re excited to partner with Citadel to bring this stellar line of effects pedals to the U.S. market.”
Citadel Guitar Pedals will be available through St. Louis Music’s authorized dealer network. For dealer inquiries or more information, please contact your SLM District Sales Manager or email [email protected].
