A dealer of a Tennessee Music Store when to the International Music Instrument Trade Show in Anaheim (NAMM), and went home with a brand new beautiful handmade Alvarez-Yairi guitar just by stopping by the St. Louis Music booth.

Not bad, eh?

St. Louis Music dealer Allen Haynes of The Music Shop is the winner of SLM’s special NAMM show contest. The owner of the Murfreesboro, Tenn. retail operation won the drawing for a new Alvarez Yairi WY1T worth $2,199.00 that was held in the SLM booth Saturday.

Any SLM dealer who spent $100 at the booth at NAMM was eligible for the drawing. The guitar is a TS model favored by the likes of Joe Bonamassa, Bob Weir, and Ani DiFranco among many others. It featured a vintage tobacco sunburst finish, unique AY Direct coupled bridge, and is decorated with abalone purflings.

Patrick Stevenson Joins SLM

SLM has a new member of the family — but it’s actually a homecoming:  Patrick R. Stevenson has joined the company as vice president of sales.
